About Us

Columbia Gorge CASA is a non-profit organization that provides trained volunteers who make a difference in the lives of children. These volunteers are assigned to the cases of children who have been removed from their homes because of parental abuse or neglect. We have over fifty active volunteers serving 101 such children in Hood River, Wasco, and Sherman counties. Our vision is to help each of the 200+ abused children in protective custody in these 3 rural counties. Our challenge is to find the volunteers, resources, commitment and compassion that will get us there.
